Research & Development - is it meant to be fun?

I have been developing my Gamefroot game and aiming to be one page ahead of the students. I am still in the learning pit and have been fortunate to have some students teach me how to extend my coding. And what fun it has been!

Here it is...>

  1. Wow Cheryl! You have really taken this mahi to another level. I loved collecting the Kumera and found the 'Trophy' challenge VERY challenging! Love your enthusiasm. Looking forward to seeing what you add to your game next! Ka rawe e hoa!

I really like how you made the character jump really high.
I was very hard to collect the map but that’s what makes a good game.
Maybe you could add some more levels.

    1. I think I will add some more levels. Have you got any suggestions of what I could include in them?

I enjoyed collecting the kumura, and I also enjoyed how you could jump quite high. It was like flying!
It was quite tricky to collect the map. But in my opinion, I think that including challenges is what makes a good game.

    I enjoyed playing your game.
It was hard to get the map, because I kept walking into the spikes.
Maybe next time you could make more levels.

I really liked your game and how it was set up .
I learnt that you could use the arrow keys to jump and move.
Maybe you could change the course at the end so it is easier.

    1. Maybe I could add a teleporting part to make the map more accessible? What do you think?

I really liked how the kumara made you go to Level 2. I did find a minor bug where if you land on the crayfish thing it kind of kills it and you will not die from it. Then you can push it off the map and then it just flies away. Also I was thinking maybe you could add some foliage to Level 2 and maybe you could also add some texture and maybe you could make a real museum instead of a map under the ground.
